Many of you may be wondering what the future looks like for Boxxle Online. So, I've decided to make a news update that will include the future plans for the site. There are two major updates that will take a longer time to complete, and one small bug fix.

1. The small bug fix is the fixing of the log in box. If you haven't noticed, you are required to log in to the site every time you close the window, regardless if you check the "stay logged in" box. This gets annoying having to type in your information every time you visit Boxxle Online. A fix will be coming soon.

2. This will be perhaps the biggest update concerning how the game is played. We will be implementing a new medal system. This is something Boxxle Online needs so it will be more appealing to all members. Here is how it will work. It will be a lot more simple that the existing medal system. You will have three medals for every level, "Gold, Silver, Bronze". Members can share medals which means if two or more people have the same score for a level, they both are awarded a gold medal (or silver or bronze) for that level. This is much more clean and simple, compared to the current awards system. Also, every level page will show what you need for a gold, silver, or bronze medal. Similar to a top score box. The reason this system is appealing is because members can compete for the most gold medals now, and it will be easier to know who the top member is.

3. Finally, in an attempt to get more players to Boxxle Online, we will be integrating the flash game into Facebook. If you are familiar with FarmVille, then you know what we're talking about. You will be able to use your Facebook account now to play Boxxle Online, and no longer have to visit this site, but rather play the game completely on Facebook. This should draw lots more members, considering Facebook is the most popular social networking site on the internet.

All of these plans have no set date till when they will be finished, however, it will be no longer than a few months until they are complete. Don't be surprised if you see new level packs popping up within the next couple months as well.

Hello everyone! Is it just me, or does it seem like we only like to have news updates in the month of March? We're here only to announce that there have been very minor changes in the site layout. Certain images that used to be black and white are now in color. We have also updated the main banner slightly.

Anyways, to the faithful BOers out there, we would like your input on how the site could be improved. With Spring starting, that can only mean one thing. Summer vacation is almost here! That means more time to work on Boxxle Online! In order to make changes and improve the overall engine, we need your comments and suggestions.
